Hello, I'm just new to boating and have a question regarding the proper use of the dual batter set up on my 2004 Centurion Elite V-Drive. The battery is equipped with a cranking battery and a deep cycle battery. It is also equipped with with a red battery shut off that allows the boat to work off of one battery or combined.

My question is this:

What setting (one battery or combined) should I use in the following scenarios:

1) Starting the boat

2) Running the boat

3) Drifting in the water with the music on

4) Drifting in the water while blowing up tubes or other such devises

On the weekend, after blowing up my 3-person tube while drifting, the motor would not start on the one battery setting. I changed it to two batteries and it started fine.

Thanks, Steve

When starting the boat I start with both batteries, but then switch to one or the other. All my amps run off my second battery so after a while of running the stereo I switch to that battery to charge it up. As far as drifting I always run just off of my #2 battery and leave my #1 for starting the boat.

Thanks Weekender. I only have the option of one battery or both, not 1 or 2 or both. I'll check with my local dealer unless anyone else has any great ideas.

I see Lamb80782 had the same remove the driver seat as I am having.
I didn't see the ulitmate solution.  I think removing "stop" would be the solution but am unable to see very well under the seat.  Has anyone come up with the solution?
I also am reoving to have re-uphostered.  Itried removing the black access cover but it is very tight under there and not enough room for a regular wrench.  May try a 1/4 rachet drive.

Good morning. I saw you talked about replacing the ram fill valves. I have a 2021 ri237 with a broken valve   It’s under warranty but dealer is going to be very slow to fix it.  Which wiring harness do I need to make sure I have  when I order off of Amazon.  Thank you scott

I see you have the Go Surf assist installed on your 2008 Enzo SV230. I am about to do the same thing on my 2007 Enzo SV240. Do you happen to have some photos of the install taken from the transom? And how did you notch out the spacers for the bump out in the swim platform bracket?
      Thanks
