As with all prior WWSC events, we expect a 100% sell-out of available slots.

REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR YOU ON APRIL 21st, 2011 AT

www.wakesurfchampionships.com

Keeping with the pattern of exploration since the 2008 WWSC, we are relocating and headed west to Parker, Arizona. The WWSC Team is extremely excited to visit this region after the success in Nashville & Minneapolis in recent years. The tournament will take place on September 23rd and 24th, 2011. Hosted on the beautiful Colorado River and in participation with the BlueWater Resort & Casino, we welcome you back to Worlds to join us and your fellow wake surfers. We've identified a beautiful venue in an amazing location that brings all aspects of the World's greatest and most competitive wake surfing talent, camaraderie, reunions and hands-on exposure and access to the riders pushing the sport and the manufacturers & sponsors that help make it all happen together for a very special weekend.

The 2010 World Wake Surfing Championship paid out over $35,000 in cash and prizes and set the stage for the most anticipated wake surfing event in history in 2011. For full event details & registration information, please go to the official 2011 Web Site of the of the WWSC

The event will begin with qualifications on the 23rd and advancement into the semi-finals and finals on the 24th based on selected divisions. The 2011 WWSC will close with the crowning of the new, 2011 World Champions.

With the past success of recognizing separate divisions of Skim and Surf style competitors, the 2011 WWSC will continue this design eliminating an OPEN class and maintaining both divisions. The result will be 12 PRO Podium Spots,, 12 AMATEUR Podium Spots & 6 MASTERS Podium Spots, and grand a total of 30 Winners with 4 World Champions!

We look forward to seeing you this year at the 2011 WWSC, we have many exciting plans in store for the tournament; details, sponsors, announcements and all WWSC related news can be found on the official WWSC site, WWSC Facebook & Twitter feeds and the WWSC sponsor network.

Last year witnessed the 1st Indy Bigspin ever landed by reigning World Wake Surfing Champion (Skim) and Inland Surfer Team Rider, Keenen Flegel. We also saw 5-time OPEN World Champion, and Phase 5, Centurion Boats team rider Drew Danielo lose his crown. A third consecutive Womens Skim Title claimed by Bri Chmel and an array of awe-inspiring Surf-Style tricks including surface 7's, Surface Reverses, Shuv-to-Revert attempts and the largest aerials boosted ever witnessed behind a boat.

Needless to say, after a season of practice and the WWSC closing the 2011 competitive circuit, the talent, tricks, upsets, and overall show from the World Wake Surfing Championships will be the greatest display of wake surfing ever!

So come on out and put your skills to the test competing for the largest cash payouts in wake surfing history. Watch as the veterans and the up-and-comers stake their claim for their spot in World Wake Surfing History and the most anticipated, the current reigning champions come to defend their titles.

Wow, just saw this today. Didn't realize it was going to be in Parker. I probably make at least 3 trips a year out there, from San Diego, and stay at the Bluewater Casino. Fun place, not the nicest but probably the nicest out there and very convenient. Anyone going. Let me know if you have any questions about the area. Might have to make the trip since the event is finally within driving distance.

We want to make sure and hookup with all Crew members, who is planning to be at the 2011 World Wake Surfing Championship this weekend? We are hoping that crew members will wear their CCC t-shirts if they have them to make it easier to find each other. So if you see someone with a CenturionCrew.Com t-shirt, koozie, etc. make sure to stop them and say hello, they might be holding some goodies to be given to you for representing the CCC community. See everyone riverside on the Colorado at the Bluewater Resort and Casino in Parker, Arizoina this weekend!

Kat and I thought about going down before our annual Lake Powell trip (Antelope Point), but my work kept us from that. Perhaps next year.

You need to go to http://www.facebook.com/officialcenturionboats?ref=ts

Les Clark from Centurion Boats has been posting to his Facebook Page all weekend.

Lots of Pictures and I just saw he posted pictures from the Awards Ceremony.

Saw a couple of pictures of Ken and his beautiful wife Andrea mixed in.

Looks like great conditions and some great riding for sure.
