Yeah funny that pic of Hogie on the goofy side...Sue and I were just laughing about how our regular side wave NEVER looks that good. Now Hogan is only 70# but that is only a 750# sac and the 250# center ballast with Me, Sue, and my daughter on the starboard side. I wish I could get my wave that clean. And yes, he is riding the old Skurfer board with a mish mash of grip tape; perfect for little guys.

 

My wave was 1100# rear locker, 370# under port seat, 250# center and two kids on the port side...maybe another 200#. We played around between 10.7 and 11.3 mph.

Here's one of my son on his skurfer. He makes the wave look huge and clean!!!

Tonights surfing! We waiting all day for the wind to die down but it never did. It was windy and choppy but a mans got to do what a mans got to do. I was the only one surfing

Well everyone, today I finally did it! Ropeless! Tried my new Phase 5 DD first, WOW, what a different board! Couldn't quite keep up, then I grabbed the Bluelake again and was able to keep the wave and even pump back in when I started to lose it!

 

 

There's video, but my sister filmed it in portrait, so you have to turn your head sideways to watch it.

 

And, my wife tried to surf finally as well!... I've never seen such horrific wipeouts wakesurfing before! She got shin hacked by the board so hard, she was almost in tears, and was curled up in a ball in the water when I got to her! But an hour later, she got right back out there and tried some more!
