This is a great contest idea, although... as my wife pointed out, shouldn't it be the person with the worst looking wave that gets the prize that should enhance their wave? :hrhr: Either way, Ill play. :unworthy: Although, my money's on Duffy.

I 2nd the great idea! It will be cool to see how all the waves stack up. Our Elite V platform boats (Elite V, Hurricane, Lightning) as well as the direct drive boats should have our own feather weight class right??? The Enzos, Avys, and Typhoons can have a heavy weight class of their own! Good luck everyone! :unworthy:

Question about rules? Can we use any boat that we want to?

normal_bargecincinnati.jpg

Is there a limit to how much ballast we can use on one side?

normal_350720.jpg

How about an overall ballast limit?

normal_342263.jpg

Can we have people stand on the swim platform?

697267.jpg

Can I get this guy for people ballast?

normal_too20much20ballast.jpg

Disclosure, none of the above are my or my crew's photos

This is not the only contest, there are more to come, who knows what the next might be looking for.

We think breaking it down into classes is a great idea, how many sacs can you two guys donate to the contest? Just kidding, again this will not be the only contest, opinions matter on the Crew, what other photo contest would everyone like to see? Also keep in mind that this is not necessarily about the biggest wave or the smallest wave it is about the Best Looking Wave, crew members will be the judges. They could be looking at anything, scenery, water clarity, curl, size, length, overall it will be judged on what the individual crew member likes best and votes on.

You can enter as many pictures as you want whether starboard or port.

Question
wake boats only

as long as it is safe

again as long as it is safe

if it is not against the law where you ride

yes

Let's see all those BEST LOOKING WAVE photos!

My weekend riding spot looks like we are riding in chocolate milk most of the time so that picture won't be nearly as pretty as say a pristine high altitude lake...

Well I will post something also to get this going and give you guys something to slaughter. This is a picture of the very first time that I took my boat out and tried to make a surf wave, I still have never surfed and hearing how much trouble people have building a wave, I was pretty happy considering it was my first time and without much weight. I really just would like to see how it compares to boats that are really set up well.

07 Typhoon

11-12 mph (can't remember but just guessed at a speed)

250 lb (?) factory center ballast

1-750lb fly high fat sack in Port locker

Just me and the wife in the boat
