Courtesy Light Switch

Hello!

I recently purchased an ‘05 Elite Air Warrior V-Drive. Been familiarizing myself with the switch panel in the cockpit and noticed that the 3 position rocker switch for the courtesy lights turns on all of the interior lights in both (up and down) positions. My question is: should the up position control SOME of the interior lights such as the deck only and then the down position control the lights in the hatches? OR Is this switch wired correctly to turn on everything in BOTH positions? Seems odd that there would be a 3 position switch where both on positions are wired to the same lights.

Congrats on the new purchase!
If I recall correctly from my old '07 Avalanche, it was the same way. But thinking about it now, I'm curious. I'm going to have to check on my ZS and see how it works. We are rarely on the lake after dusk, so the lights don't get much use.
