New acme prop

Hi All,

I had a new acme surf prop installed on my 06 Avy C4. It’s really closed to the trailer supports. Obviously I wouldn’t put the boat in gear until it was floating but wondering if there are other suggestions out there to ensure it doesn’t hit.

Not sure how close yours actually is, but mine has got a few inches. Sorry no suggestions except looking if you could adjust the bunks up, or replace the bunks with thicker material. Chris

What prop model did you get? Did you stick with the stock 13.5” or jump up to the 14”? I’m debating on a 14 inch but I don’t want gelcoat burn…
