06 Air Warrior Elite Wake surf questions

Hi All!

Just purchased a 2006 Air Warrior Elite C4 - 175 hours on the pristine boat.  Perfect pass.  

We have purchased 2 - 750 pound ballast bags for the back lockers, bought a smaller 55lb bag to move around the boat for wait distribution.  We shift people side to side a bit but are having a hard time getting a long wave.  I have tried putting people in the front as well as I have heard that will lengthen the wake too.  

I am a little nervous to way overload the boat due to waves coming over the back often.. I think we have had about 2500 lbs of total weight on the boat including the ballast bags.. but the wake seems to be nice and tall, yet the sweet spot is close to the boat and we can't get too far back in the wave.  

Any suggestions to help that wave get longer and plain cleaner would be appreciated.

Are you using a wake shaper? Need one for this boat.

Even with wake shaper we are close also
