Cooler Box Modification

I have a 2005 Centurion Elite CV. It has the standard built in cooler that never gets used. I have heard that some people modified their existing cooler to make it more usable. Please share your modifications!!!! Much appreciated!

The only thing I can think of (I considered, but never got around to doing on my old '07 Avalanche) is spray foam around the outside of the cooler from under the observer seat storage area to try to insulate it.

We just keep an "office" plastic trash can in it and use it for trash.  Easy to empty quickly.  I'd be interested in better ideas though.  We use a soft Yeti cooler on board for drinks and stuff.
