Modified Walk Through Coolers

I have a 2005 Centurion Elite CV. It has the standard built in cooler that never gets used. I have heard that some people modified their existing cooler to make it more usable. Please share your modifications!!!! Much appreciated!

I just put insulation around mine. I love that cooler.

from the outside/bottom i'm guessing?  how'd you get at it?

Yes.  I took off the close out panel under the helm by the drivers foot and under the observer seat storage area.  Gets you a full view of both sides of the cooler.  I put foam around it. I think a sticky back type radiant barrier would work better.

Same here, Mine is well insulated and I love it. I think it is a really great spot for a cooler and you can stuff that thing.

We have a soft-sided cooler that fits drinks/sandwiches and we just drop it into the space.  Works great!  I like the idea of adding insulation,  I'll look into that.
