I replaced mine that looked like yours with a new style at the time about 3 or 4 years ago.   I should of had it hinged and put the hydraulic Lenco actuators.  I bought the Lenco afterward and was going to change it, But never got around to doing it.  Just doing the new plate changed the wake to be clean on each side

There was a thread on the plate and the measurements and the angle of the wing.  I am going to say it was about 4 years ago, but I'll look at my boat file to see if i still have and if I do I'll post to you

I found it!!  This is for a stationary plate, but I notice on new boats they have a wing on each side of the plate.  This has cleaned up my goofy wake a lot

I built this and put it on my elite last year as well. I will go as far as to say it turned my goofy wave into a better looking wave than my regular. Didn’t do anything for my regular which we all are. So while I would t say it was for nothing just expect it to only enhance your goofy side wave hit enhance by a lot.

I did the small wing on the starboard side as well but the first outing we went the regular wave was horrible compared to before so I cut it off. It wasn’t till the third trip out I realized I had it pushed all the way down which killed the wave. Now I have it as far up as those turnbuckles will allow being a fixed blade and it looks good

I leave my powered a-plate trim tab up 99% of the time.

@Shaka with InfinityWave surf tab systems can build you an A-plate or double wing plate. They sell them along with their surf tab system (I put their surf tabs on my SV244 and awesome wave!). My boat already had an A-plate on it from factory.

@Jake707, I've got an 09 Elite with the C4 hull. It has the fixed plate but it seems like the double arms connecting the plate to the transom would move the plate if a hinge were present as opposed to the four allen screws connecting the plate to the boat.

When you added the a-plate, did you make it a hinged moving plate or did you use the existing 4 screw holes and have the new a-plate fixed?

My plate is fixed, no hinge, and I have those turnbuckle arms closed in as much as possible. It does allow a slight angle up which helped clean up the wake but I still have about an inch of threads on the arms that I could not close to since it is a solid plate. If I went hydraulic I would cut and add a hinge but I don't know the real benefit of angling it down into the water as it flattened out my wave pretty good, nor do I know how much more I could angle it up and what that benefit would be so the ROI really isn't there right now.

Did you ever make the swap?  If you still have the old parts, I’d like to purchase from you. Mine’s jacked up…

You can probably get this made by SendCutSend. They are a site that you send a cad to and they will machine whatever you like.
