2014 233 Enzo worked great before winter. Winterized and left in a garage. First trip today--no CATs fin movement, no wake plate movement, no valve movement. Valves show they are working on the screen but the CATs and the wake plate don't show any response on the screen. Radio intermittently working. Front ballast pump not working. The screen looks fine and responds to touch otherwise.  Any ideas? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You probably need a computer update.... Dealer can get the software and update using USB thumb drive.

Just as a side note, did you check and test your batteries to be sure they are all good? (I check water level in Spring/Fall and top off using distilled water), a charger/maintainer will keep them in good shape. Many computer issues are caused by low/bad battery so wanted to mention that in case they are original batteries in your boat.

Another possibility (tho seems more remote based on what you posted)....if you removed batteries for the layup could be the computer reset itself somehow when they were re-installed and in the dealer settings turned off the CATS and Ramfill settings since they were options in 2014. Just speculating tho it seems most likely that it just needs an update/re-flash.

In meantime tho after testing batteries to be sure they are still good, I would disconnect the batteries for 20-30mins and then re-connect and see if that fixes anything. That may reset your system. I think in dealer settings there may be a "factory reset" as well but don't remember for sure). Code is 91 to access dealer settings.

On Valves, you know you can manually open/close them right? Maybe they need to be manually cycled to free them up....have someone cycle valves in trailer mode while you are looking at them to see what they do. When my boat is out of water, I use the trailer mode to open the valves and leave them open till ready to dunk boat again. It keeps them from getting stuck and less historic failures for others from what I have read. I still have the original Drainmaster valves on my 2014 SV244 boat with no failures but I lube them every few outings with a water resistant silicone (then I cycle them open/closed a few times on trailer to spread the lube) and I also use the trailer mode to open the fill/drain valves every time I pull the boat and leave them open while in garage. When on water, I also fill Ramfill with GPS set on 12-13mph so not as much water pressure against the gates when they open/close since my thot process is that they will last longer that way rather than having water pressure pushing against valves while they open/close going 18mph (I have new Valterra valves for when I need to replace them since its a matter of time.... just have not had a reason to replace them yet tho I will at some point since very happy with this boat and intend to keep it another 4-5yrs).

Thank you. I did disconnect the batteries to check them. After charging, one is 100% when tested and one maxes at 89%. As you thought, they were disconnected. My local dealer will check with Centurion for an update. Meanwhile I will try what you suggest. I appreciate your response and help. I will let you know. Glad to hear your boat has been so solid. I did spray my valves with a Teflon lube and then manually pulled them up and down. They were a bit stiff until the lube spread around. Currently, nothing cycles automatically. I like your suggestions.

After reading the suggestions here, I removed the batteries and called Fred's Marine in Layton. Centurion is relatively new to them but they are the dealer. Fred called Centurion and asked them about the problem. He explained to me that the screen has a different electrical supply than the screen. It made sense that the screen seemed to work but none of the accessories worked. He suggested that it could be a simple tripped breaker. It was not a tripped breaker but it seemed to be an electrical problem.

I followed the wires from the batteries to the computer. I took the wires off of the breakers and all looked fine. When I put everything back together, the computer all of the accessories worked. I haven't taken it out yet but with the computer running the valves normally entering "trailer mode," I think that it will work on the lake. Thanks for all of the comments.

Byerman,

I just went through this on my 2014 SV233. In the beginning My screen acted the same way yours is doing. I would turn off batteries, then trip all breakers. Look under the helm and inside the observer's seat. There are also 2 plugs in the back of the touchscreen, I would unhook those as well.  After letting set for a minute I would plug back in and it would work. I was assuming that I might have left the key and touchscreen on while towing at 75mph and this created the problem because my GPS and ZeroOff would not work but never had this confirmed.

So the end result was a touchscreen replacement that I replaced in the winter of 2018-2019. I was able to have this issue covered under warranty so I'm not sure of the cost but rumor has it 1500-3500 dollars which is ridiculous if you take into consideration on what a new Mac desktop costs.

Better bring this screen issue to the dealer because this is a known failure and if they are new they might not know and depending on when you purchased your boat you might be at the end of your warranty.

2015 FS33.  I'm on my second screen.  Still having intermittent issues with ballast going off/on on its own.  Possible that I got TWO bad screens? Or something else? Brand new batteries, both 100%. I still have warranty

How do you guys still have a warranty on these screens?  I was told the screens were 1 year warranty?
