OK, so the first year of boat ownership was a huge success.  Many of you helped me set up my 06 SV230 and it was much appreciated.  Now I start planning for modifications and improvements to do over the winter and in the spring.  As we are a mixed crew of goofy and regular, I really want to find an A-plate.  The existing fixed plate is bottom mounted.  I have looked at all of the previous threads, spent hours upon hours researching.  I see a lot of partial plans but none that I could actually hand to a fabricator and say "make this please."  If anyone has a source on plans or someone that can make one I will be forever in your debt.  If someone can make one and knows what they are doing, even better.  Happy to pay and not looking for a deal.

That's project one.  Next one will probably be hard plumbing in some enzo bags.

Thanks!

Check out the official centurion and Supreme page on facebook. You can search the page. Several plates on there. This page is hard to add photos and most all traffic that was here is on the facebook page now.

I can get you one made. Infinity Wave will be offering A plates as well as double wing plates on one-off basis.

Shaka:

That would be awesome.  I send you my email via PM.  Not sure what infinity has planned but would be interested in that as well.  End of the day, just need a slightly better goofy wave.  Having read every thread on the subject I know you have been working on this for a long time.

Much appreciated.

We have a version of our universal watersport trim tabs specifically designed for SV series boats. The universal version will not work on SV boats because of the swim platform mounting location extends to the bottom of the hull. I did an SV version that takes this into account.

When you switch sides with this system, does it automatically go to the "deepest" tab setting  and then you adjust the tab up to optimal setting, or do you hold down each button (pressing one to come up, and the other to go down) at the same time? Looking at your pics, that is what it appears to be since I only see 2 manual buttons for the option where you are getting the switch/lenco tabs only.

Looks like you got this off the ground and tabs look like a solid design. Curious how much weight the Malibu boats had in the 2 video's posted on your site and the downward angle you found to be the most desirable? (I have heard 9-12 degree's) Wish you the best of luck with sales and future. I have been thinking about switching to tabs on my 14 SV244 for over a year now and know you mentioned this upcoming launch to me over this summer when I mentioned it in another thread. I have not worked up the nerve to do it since obviously this is not something you can "test" first to see how beneficial it is and once its installed, its there for good due to the holes (unless of course you want to do gelcoating repairs).... of course the price of most systems available are a pretty big commitment and since I already have a great suckgate wave, at least for me its been a decision I have not yet quantified the worth on. Price seems a lot more in line with where I would think the value would be, guess at least some of of that has to do with electronics involved and how "smart" they are.

Maybe we can talk about the potential of adding this to my boat sometime soon, tho I gotta take enough time off work to prep my other house and sell it since I moved into my newly built home about 2 months ago and due to craziness of work, have not even put my other home on the market yet and it sucks maintaining/paying for 2 homes. I really need to prioritize that especially considering that the market is still really strong on home sales and you never know when that will slow down. Again, congrats on the launch!

Our system is simple. Two rocker switches similar to what is in most cars. It's super-easy to hold one down and pull the other up when you want to do a transition. It's also easy to dial in. On that particular Malibu you hold the switch down for a count of three and you are pretty much dialed in. My SV230 is the same. Every boat is a little different but once you figure out the adjustment for your boat it becomes second nature in a big hurry. I've found that around ten degrees down angle is about right on both the SV and the Malibu. The tab will hot deploy all the way down unless you decide to do that.

We could have designed an automatic switching system but one of the goals was to have a design provided more benefit to the boat than just simply achieving a surf wave. These are great at tuning wakes for everything from wakeboarding to tubing. They also work as trim tabs. In order to do these things we wanted simple manual control of each tab. My family's boat growing up had dual tabs on the back and we used it to create giant wakes for maximum kneeboard air and to prevent bow rise when trying to get a slalom skier up quickly. The tabs were incredibly useful in the terrible conditions that can occur in places like Lake Powell. Our new tabs do all this and help create a great surf wave.

Shaka:

Thanks for the link and the further explanation.  Looks like a nice setup at a reasonable price.  Tried to PM you but looks like you cannot get PM's.  I'll call the number on the website on Monday, time permitting.  Would be very interested in pictures or videos of the setup on your SV230 and I am specifically looking for how the goofy wave looks.  What ballast setup are you running?

Thanks again.

Hmmm, I've never had trouble getting pm's. You can reach me at shakarocks@hotmail.com. We are still setting up our website and haven't set up email yet. Calling the number on the page will also work although you will get Rob.

I don't have a ton of pics of the SV setup. However, I get a great goofy wave. I'll see if I can find some pics.
