I have a 2012 sv 244

I am looking to buy a FAE and a trim tab that will clean up my goofy wave.

Does anything know where I can buy these two things?

 Thank you!

FreshAirExhaust.com I bought an FAE for my 2014 SV244, came out great. Make sure you use 5200 where it connects to transom, that keeps it from moving since before they speced doing that, a couple people where having the head of their screws pop off. I also did not use stainless, I used grade 8 metal screws.

Thanks!  Just ordered one... waiting to hear back from them.

Do you have an A-Plate on your boat?   My goofy wave is bad and from what I have read, the a-plate is the only answer.

If so, where did you get it?   I would really like to find one to buy already fabricated to fit my boat!

I do have an A-plate, it came stock on my boat from factory. I have seen some people make them, maybe on wakegarage? I know there were some threads on here last year about a guy that could fab them and a couple CC members have gotten them, hopefully one of them will chime in who has his contact info. You may be able to get one fabricated at a local shop and I will get you measurements from mine if you need. I get a great, clean wave on both sides of boat with A-plate. I also weight level and use a Nauticurl suck gate, not sure if that makes any difference, doubtful.

There are plans for an A-plate on here somewhere.  Any good local metal fabricator can make one using stainless steel and a piano hinge.  Mine was fabbed up by Kingdon in Salt Lake.

Here's the guy's email that made mine and a few others  A-plates. He did an amazing job and CNC'ed the centurion logo onto the top of it. I'll try and find the thread and pic's of the one he did for my avy.

Hi Nick.. I finally got my a plate installed.   I am getting a lot of spray.    Did you have this issue?   I have seen a little chatter about this on the site but I have not seen a solution.  I am going to keep looking.   Thxs

On WakeGarage and couple other places....some people used a thick rubber "horse mat" to drag behind the swim platform to knock down the spray and clean the wave. I get some spray but dont wanna add something like that to my boat, but you could look it up if you wanted. I believe Duffy M had a good write up on one of the forums....maybe TigeOwners? Tige also has deep V hull....think that is where I saw a long thread where a bunch of people had some kind of mods for spray and to clean up the wave.

My goofy wave is AWESOME tho with A plate. If you are listing, due to prop spin, you have to list a different amount depending on side you are surfing, so may wanna play with that a bit more. Wave should be a bit better on goofy side due to prop spin. I do not list, I use suck gate....but easier for me to get bigger, cleaner wave on goofy side tho both sides are great for me and 95% of time I have my boat set up for regular so don't know as much about Goofy.

Believe that Nick does list his 244

Yes I run listed on both sides, here’s a not so good pic of the goofy wave from yesterday. I can get the wave better then this pic but I really didn’t care to much about that because my only goofy rider just holds the rope anyway.

We were able to install our FAE on our 2013 SV233 the other weekend. Install was a breeze and the results were incredible. Cut down on the noise and exhaust fumes/steam/CO was remarkably less. Buddy of mine made a goofy edit right after we threw it on there and theres an older video before the FAE for comparison.
