Loose wires under the dash

I just got this from a friend of mine. He's in the land of maple syrup and apologizes for vacation and rented a boat for the week to do some fishing. He was out today putting around when some wires under the dash fell on his leg.

That would be the end of boating if it happened to me... my boat would be charred and sitting at the bottom of the bay. "Hi yes, State Farm? Yeah my boat burned and is at the bottom of the bay. Yeah, the bay. I did it. Yeah, I did it, a snake fell out from under the dash, I had no choice"

That's a whole lot of nope.  Theres a good chance that I might have freaked out enough to just jump out of the boat at the time I first saw it not thinking about anything else haha
