Yesterday my wife went to blow up a floatie from the rear 12V plug in at the rear locker and quit after a few seconds use. I figured a fuse blew.
So we tried the Dash 12v, no problem.
Thought it was strange the rear 12v blew, but then noticed later on the dash the Bilge pump resettable fuse was popped. I reset it, and then looked and it is only a 3 Amp resettable fuse.
Why would the bilge pump and the rear 12v be on such a low fuse? The bilge pump is rated at 3 amps, and suggests a 5 amp fuse.

If the 12 volt is connected to it though, I think it should be on a 10 amp minimum, and on its own. Anyone else notice this?

3A is likely appropriate for a small bilge pump. The issue is, the 12V ACC should not be wired to the bilge. It needs its own fused circuit or tied to the helm ACC socket.
