New Supreme S238 Owner - Tube towing question

Recommended Posts

Just bought my boat in May. Have taken out twice and loved it. We have pulled a tube, kneeboard and surfed thus far.

I know I am not supposed to attach the tube to my tower. Is the black bar on the rear of the boat the appropriate place to attach a tow rope for the tube? Further detail - are you meant to loop it around the "T" on the center of the bar?

Thanks so much for any advice on this.

Yes loop it on the black handle. I go under and pull over the top and spread loop over the t hook (forgot what it's called). And with all the ropes I've had I've been able to pull on tube side of rope and then take that end of loop and place it so it sits on the hooks too. You will see once you pull it how this portion sits and secures the first loop. I'll take a picture next time I'm out. Not sure mine is correct way but it's never come off nor do I think it can.

Its similar to how you attach the rope to the newer tubes

Don't forget to tighten the tow bar.  Mine was pretty loose when it came from the factory.
