2017 S238 Wave Setup - Yes - another one

Yeah I know. No Prob.

I did order 800lbs of weight bags. I'll put 100lbs under each PNP bag and 300-400 in the port locker and keep 200-300 to move around. Unless someone tells me different. I got the wakeballast steel shot bags so I can tuck them in crack and crevices and not lose all my storage. I'm a little worried about rust. Anyone do anything with these? Big Ziploc for extra reassurance?

I should now have:

QuickFill 750lbs

PNP Bow 500

PNP upgraded sacs 2x750 = 1,500

weight bags 800lb

3,550 avail or 3,050 (with empty PNP bow) to surf.

Hopefully move to the other thread and post results next time.

And I was just busting ya about the tab, there's a lot on these boats and easy to lose track of things until you have some time in it.. Keep us posted on how you make out.

Your off on the quick fill weight it's 500 lbs per side and you forgot the 500 lb center tank

Thx. You're right I did forget the center and had the QF tanks wrong. So that should now put me at 3800 for the surf wave (bow PnP empty).

Posted settings in the [Official] 2017 Supreme Surf Ballast/Tab Setup Thread but having trouble uploading a picture.

I put in on Lake Minneola in Clermont (tannic water, about an hour away, local lake is too low). If I get the picture up you'll see the wave starting to take shape. My daughter (110lb) and I (190lb) were able to ride without a rope. It was more work for me though. If I get the picture up you'll see the wave is still smaller that some of the ones I have seen, not as clean and it is much shorter.

I didn't ride listed since I had 100lb of extra steel ballast on the port side and 4 passengers (maybe 450 lbs) that I could move around.

Hopefully the pic will get up soon so I can get some support.

Got a couple quick pics in with tapatalk. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Also exhaust was an issue, what needs to be done to redirect from the rider?
