Hi. New to site.
We have a new 2009 AvalanchC4 with factory installed deck. I believe its a Sony model. Manual indicates it is iPod ready, and the iPod can be controled from the head unit itself. Trying to determine what is the correct adapter for the iPod/iPhone to use with this deck / head unit. Anyone know? Does anyone know what model Sony Centurion installed in the '09 Avs? Thanks all. |

my 2 cents I belive that it came with one of the sony marine decks they are garbage they need an adapter to run the I pod and only have a front and rear out rca no sub out dont buy the extra adapters pull the deck and replace with the sony cdxgt930ui $180 on e bay this is a much better deck has a front aux input plus a front usb which the i pod plugs into.this allows you to control the i pod and charge it at the same time, plus it has front, rear and sub out rca's which will leave your system room to grow.

If you buy this deck will it still work with the Marine remote on the dash?
I was under the impression that you had to use one of the Sony Marine receivers. Having the USB on the front would really be a plus. |
