Boat: Not a Centurion

mine are in the same condition(probably better since they have less time on them) than yours are, but since you're all butthurt thinking I sat at home waiting for you to post yours and I could jump all over it, I'm pulling mine. I'll find another venue to list them...

glws..

Supra? Ugh! Anyway, if you don't sell these to anyone, send me a PM because I would like them, but they would be more of a luxury than a necessity for me right now so I can't throw $130 down for them.

Boat: Elite V C4

H20King, my new Elite V has these same speakers in the rear lounge area, but nothing in the bow. I believe I have seen some with the speakers in the bow compartments as well. I haven't picked up my boat yet (it's closer to you than me!), so I don't know what it will take to mount these in the bow. Do you know if centurion prepares all boats so that they will drop in easy, or would I need to do some cutting? I may take them off your hands if they drop in easy. Jason

not sure about the elite v but to put them in the bow of a falcon you would have to do some cutting I would assume the elite v would be the same

My '06 Elite V had holes in the bow in the seats. All that was needed was some poking around and vinyl trimming. The reason I didn't go that route was because I didn't want to ruin the comfort by having speakers where rest your back and such. I have pictures of my install I did with a dremel tool, just gotta find them and then I will post.

Boat: Elite V C4

Hi Spud, thanks for the info. I don't think I would want the speakers in the seats. I have seen some Centurions with the speakers in the bow side storage compartments, but I don't know about the Elite's. J

Thought I had a better picture but here... I took out the light and looked around, then I made a 5" template to draw my circle using the top of light hole to start. Then cover the area with blue painters tape and draw circle. I cut the hole with a dremel tool and it came out sweet, but be sure to stay just inside your line so you don't go over the 5" (typical speaker hole). You can always shave off more if needed. I just had my holes quoted because I need 4 and I didn't want to deal with it but at 3hrs $80 an hr... I will post some pics when I'm done. It sounded sweet for the bow riders at 35 mph. Keep in mind if you use a bow cushion it might be in the way when set in place, check.
