Once again, that is some fine looking work that you've done. Where did you source the retractable ski pylon from and at what price?

nice work. The boat looks great. curious about the fae. just picked up my boat in october so havent had a chance to use it yet but get mixed opinions on the fae. i assume you have done plenty of surfing and found that it is necessary. others say if you are back a little ways from the platform it doesnt matter. I am contemplating installing fae even before i take the boat out as the youngins will be surfing.

Good looking double-stack hard tanks.
I wish I could do FAE. Yes Poosie, it's worth it. Even that far back it's bareable, but I'd rather not smell/breathe anything but clean air and spray. Quiets the boat down alot. My winter project list is----I just bought a few things as my christmas presents. I'll get to installing if it ever gets warmer. |

How on earth did I miss this thread???
Looks great! Do you have a remote for the ipod itself? Will that remote that you installed work it? Or will you have to rely on playlists? |

I am contemplating installing fae even before i take the boat out as the youngins will be surfing. I love the sound of a good motor so I was skeptical of adding the FEA to our Enzo. I could not be happier from that stand point alone, screaming across the lake and being to have a conversation without yelling is worth it alone. You do not need to turn the stereo up as load to get the same sound. It takes a ton of noise out of the boat and puts it under water. From the surfing stand point, you still have emissions when sitting still but, when you are under way there are no emissions at all. Boarding 70ft. out is about the same. I was not sure how much difference the FEA would make but, after having one for the summer I will not have another boat without one, you will not be disappointed. ![]() Surf's Up!!!

Have you tried your Pioneer transom remote yet? I found it wouldn't show my Sirius channel information and would only show the channel number and wouldn't show IPOD information.
The response from Pioneer is that the new receivers are not compatible. Hopefully you had a different experience and if so could you tell me which model number of receiver you used that worked? Thanks for your time. Packrat |
