Looking for a boat cover that will cover the whole boat including the swim platform. I have looked at Evolution, Rankin, and Shark Skin. Do not like Shark Skin and from what I read on here is not a good product. I like Rankin the best from the looks of it and from what I have read so far. I sent both Evolutiona and Rankin an email to see if they make them to cover the swim platform with my Evolution Tower. Still waiting to hear back from them. If anyone has any other companies that are good please let me know. My wish list is that I want something to hold up, at least 5 years, easy to store, something I can clean with fabric cleaner and water and then retreat as needed, and last to cover the swim platform. I read on one post about using plastic wrap for the tower on long haul trips. Has anyone tried that and if so did it work? I have some tower socks I could use if needed, but just wondering about the plastic wrap.

David,

These covers do not cover the swim platform. We also do not currently have the correct patterns for the Centurion Line.

I thought they did make covers for Centurion. It is on there web site. Well, one down.

I just got a Rankin cover for my Enzo 216 and it is awesome. They should have no problem making one for you. The covers themselves dont cover the swim platform but I think they can make an add on cover for it. No snaps or poles and it fits like a glove. Water does not pool and best of all its trailerable.

Only complaint is that it takes usually 8 weeks or more to get your cover. Hope this helps

Chris

I got an email back from them today, but they never said if they could cover the swim platform or not. They said we can make a cover your boat and the price is 950.00. that is all I got. So I tried to call them and no answer.

Your cover sounds great. I'm sure if your interested, however, I also bought a cheap silver water prooof boat cover at WalMart that I place over my good one when it is sitting out. I find it is a great way to keep my good cover clean and free of tree sap and acidic bird crap. I think it was like $50 and it works like a charm. I did have to cut it and add velcro so it would go around the tower legs, but it serves the purpose well even if you don't.

That is a great idea also! Do you have it set a little off the original so it can breathe?

Yes it is due to the fact that the material is so light.. Any type of light breeze creates a bit of seperation. Again it is just a great way to ptotect that expensive cover.

I just got a call from Cory over at Evolution Covers and he is looking for someone out in the Seattle, WA area to get a pattern from. If you are in the area and will let him come to you to mark a pattern so that he can start selling them, he will cut you a deal on a new cover. If you are out there, please let me know so that I can put you two in contact. I was going to go with Rankin, until I heard they have bad customer service and take 3 months to get you there cover.
Thanks

Packrat, Cory might can use your boat also to get some templates. I can let him know or you can email him and let him know that sent you. I am sure he would love to work with you and who knows you might get a great cover for a really cheap price!

Cory is a good guy, I had one of his covers on my last boat and miss it every time I snap this one on, go for it.

Still trying to find someone with an Avalanche that he can copy from. PatRack, were you able to send him an email? If anyone knows a dealer out in Seattle please let me or Cory know ASAP. Winter is coming and I need one of his covers fast. Heard too many horror stories about Rankin and there customer service.
