I going to install a new sub in my 2006 Elite Bowrider. I was wondering if anyone has done this on the Elite Bowrider , Elite V or Avalache C4. I was thinking of locateing it down by the drivers foot well and using the space infront of that under the right bow cusion as the box. Any suggestions or photos would be great. Thanks

We have one 12 in the front ski locker on the port side. To be honest, by this point of the stereo install, I got lazy and it was just easier to put the sub in there with the amps. It sounds great but it takes up a lot of room. If you do end up putting it in the drivers foot well, I would like to see how it turns out.

I put one 12" in a sealed enclosure in the driver's side compartment, pretty tight fit but after removing all the trim panels I was able to fit it in there. The sub is facing up, sounds pretty good but it does rattle the dash quite a bit. I also have one in each rear locker, still working on those but it sounds ok....For now!

I have 2-6.5inch bazzoka subs that I've had for years. I put them under the starboard and port rearward cushions. Just doing my part to save the earth and recycle stereo equipment. No global warming here.

I have a 10" Kicker solobaric in a factory kicker box that fits good in the driver footwell with still plenty of foot room and I'm 6'5". I have a 1000 watt kenwood pushing the sub and it hits harder than my two 12" kicker's did in my last boat.

What kind of box are you using for it? Slotted or ported? Also, did you build it yourself? I have my WS dealer getting my stuff in and will be starting this "Project" over the winter.

As far as I know the installer used the suggested ported box from Wet Sounds, it is behind the kick plate under the dash and I have not taken it apart to see what they did. I do know that it pounds like no other sub I have ever had!

See pic for Box dims, etc.

Thanks! I too want to place it behind the kick plate but I want mine to be seen thru the kick plate. I was wondering if I can cut a hole in the kick plate or mod the box the sape of the kick plate and use that. If you can, send me some pics of your total setup. I am looking for ideas on how to install the amps inside the passenger compartment. I want it to look show quality.

I have a Kicker L7 10'' In a factory kicker ported box under the dash, with a Hifonics 1500 Watt Mono Sub Amp. I have just a pair of wet sounds Pro 60 and it is LOUD. That Over all system sounds great. The sub hits REALLY hard. On my '09 there really is not rattle. It does vibrate the dash and drivers area but no rattle. I have the sub facing foward with the port facing the port side of the boat. Sounds great! The '09 Surf Enzo 240 That I used for a week had a 15'' sub under the dash, it sounded good as well. If it had more power going to the sub it would have been better, the amps were kickers but just not a ton of power

I didn't do it on my Elite, but I did do it on my Enzo. Installed a 12" Fusion powered subwoofer, box and all behind the panel at the drivers feet. Did have to mount it off the deck about 5" to clear the hull shape (speaker facing outboard. Nice thing in the Enzo is that I can still get at the amp controls and connection
