CENTURION’S WORLD WAKE SURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS SUPPORT THE CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION

Merced, CA ~ Centurion Boats has been a leader in the tournament towboat market for over 36 years, and in January of this year, formed a partnership which allows the company to share its success with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF).

September 6th and 7th, Centurion will host the 7th Annual World Wake Surfing Championships at Riverfront Park in downtown Nashville, TN where a 2008 Centurion Falcon V Air Warrior valued over $50,000 will be awarded through a silent auction with 30% of the proceeds above the minimum bid of $28,000 going to support the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Attendees of the event will be charged $10 for admission, from which an additional 30% of proceeds will be contributed to CFF. This generous contribution will go a long way in funding vital science that will help continue the quest to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Opening Saturday, September 6th at 8:00 AM, the World Wake Surfing Championships will display the Falcon V Air Warrior that is up for bid at Riverfront Park. Final bids will be collected at the end of the tournament on Sunday, September 7th, and the boat will be awarded to the winning bidder on Monday, September 8th. Volunteers from the Nashville Chapter will be onsite to encourage show-goers to make a purchase with a purpose, to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
