We met a new crew at the Periwinkle charity event last week on Lake Somerville and linked their Malibu with (2) Pro-80's, (2) MB-8's + interior and sub with our Centurion Enzo with (2) Pro-485's + interior and sub with a West Sounds WS-420, which was unbelievable! Check out the Video that Cameron the owner of the Malibu took by clicking HERE.

Both systems were only turned up half way.

Very cool! How many batteries are you guys running? I just added a third, with two mine would only last a couple hours haven't been out to try it yet.

Not sure about the Malibu.

The Enzo came with 2 batteries, they are now banked and used for the engine. They are connected to an on/off Perko switch, which allows them to be isolated from the boat/stereo system when running the stereo with the engine off. A second on/off Perko switch has two Kinetik HC2400 Power Cells (see pic below) banked that we us to run the stereo. Both Perkos in the On position allows both sets of batteries to charge when the boat is running or you can isolate either set to put more charging power to them by turning the set that you do not want to charge to the OFF position. The boat also has a Kinetik KIPS12-60 60 amp power supply (see pic below) that can be plugged into 110 power and used to charge the batteries/keep them topped off during continuous use. So far the longest we have continuously run the system just off the batteries is 6.5 hours without starting the boat.

Very nice!! I'm just using an isolator with an onboard charger/maintainer, the two stereo batteries combined are good for 230 ah so it should help. Anyone who doesn't have an onboard charger should definetly invest in one, that is one of the best things I've added yet!

Just spent a few day's At Tulloch sure was nice to plug the boat in and have fresh batteries for the next day!

One thing I have learned from this boat is there are two things that I will always have on every boat in the future.

1. Wet Sounds WS-420 Equalizer

2. Onboard battery charger
