Centurion Boats Sponsored Kyle Bush Win, Makes It a Double Feature at the Centurion Boats at The Glen NASCAR Race Weekend (IMG:http://www.centurioncrew.com/media/ccc/2008%20Centurion%20Boats%20at%20The%20Glen_1.jpeg) WATKINS GLEN, NY – (August 10, 2008) The Kyle Bush win from the pole supplied a double feature for Centurion World Championship Tow Boats this weekend in Watkins Glen, New York. The weekend began as a rather normal NASCAR Race weekend except this weekend embodied a “boat company” as a Sprint Cup (feature series) Title Sponsor: Centurion Boats. Banners went up, race rigs arrived, marine and automotive press found their stations in the new Watkins Glen Media Center and all looked as it should. That is, until the drop of the green flag, at the Saturday NASCAR Nationwide Series race. Centurion’s Bryan Holland drops the green flag and is the center of attention on pit lane at the “Centurion Boats at the Glen” NASCAR weekend. Kyle Bush, a Centurion World Championship Tow Boat owner and wakeboard rider, started mid pack and over what seemed to be an endless number of “runs to the front” surprised everyone. This day was not to be a normal day. With championship spirit, Kyle Bush tangled with corners, curbs and less than his own brand of “Bush-Style” driving from the other drivers on the track. He worked his way to what seemed to be a podium finish; when he found Jeff Burton. It was the typical “who’s on first and who’s on second?” sceniero. Burton headed to the garages and Kyle somehow moved his damaged car one more time through the field, to clinch a second (gaining on first) place finish for Centurion. Sunday, again, was full of surprises for the Centurion Crew. Oval course drivers who win from the pole on a road course are rare. Drivers with an ultra competitive team mate (Tony Stewart), starting just a few rows back, are usually doomed not-to-win. Centurion’s Kyle Bush proved them wrong (on both accounts) and clinched a GIANT “First-in-the-Chase” win-confirming First Place Finish!!! “He was flawless” commented Les Clark, Centurion’s General Manager of it’s East Coast Facility. “Some people love him and some don’t… but he CAN DRIVE a race car…” Les continued. Kyle Bush said of the race, “We didn’t have a good car in the beginning because we got passed, but as the race went on, the tire pressures built up and I was able to get back by Jeff Gordon and the rest is history…” (IMG:http://www.centurioncrew.com/media/ccc/2008%20Centurion%20Boats%20at%20The%20Glen_4.jpeg) Centurion’s Les Clark and Bryan Holland present Kyle Bush with the custom built Centurion Boats at the Glen 3 dimensional inlayed crystal glass trophy. The double podium finish for a Centurion sponsored driver became a double feature for what is a great branding and image building weekend for Centurion World Championship Tow Boats. Kyle owns a Centurion Enzo SV230 which underscores his winning and competitive sprit. Kyle is as aggressive behind his Enzo as he is on the race track. The Centurion Crew and the # 18 M & M’s Joe Gibbs Racing crew unite in Watkin Glen’s Victory Lane. Les Clark, Bryan Holland and Kyle thrill to the an incredible win at the Centurion Boats at the Glen. In addition to sponsoring Kyle Bush, Centurion World Champion Tow Boats was the Title Sponsor of the 2008 NASCAR Centurion Boats at the Glen Sprint Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International and has partnered with NASCAR to build an officially licensed, limited edition series of high-performance tow boats available to race fans worldwide. Centurion Boats are the undisputed Champion in performance and quality when it comes to the wakeboard and water ski boat industry. Rick Lee, the founder of Centurion Boats, has always been a pioneer in the world of watersports. Rick raced the first turbocharged exotic K-Jet in the 1,600 meter closed coarse circle class. Then he transformed his innate knowledge of hydrodynamics and ability to design high performance boat hulls into building the standard of the industry in high performance championship tow boats. (IMG:http://www.centurioncrew.com/media/ccc/2008%20Centurion%20Boats%20at%20The%20Glen_6.jpeg) Regional Managers Bryan Holland and Jeff Jones join Joe Gibbs in Victory Lane after the Centurion sponsored Bush win. Kyle Bush drives for NFL famed Joe Gibbs Racing. The Centurion NASCAR-licensed boats are built to represent the speed, thrill, intensity, competitiveness and passion that are all true to the sport of NASCAR, and promise performance to surpass the standards set by more than 75 million loyal NASCAR fans. Centurion is honored to be named the Exclusive Wakeboard Towboat of Watkins Glen International and Daytona International Speedway.
