So, we finally caught up with Travis Propst in the middle of this stalefish to ask the style-king what’s been poppin’ and here is what he has to report…

“Between photo shoots with the magazines and several freelance photographers and videographers, I’ve been traveling a lot with my new board company, Slingshot, which I am really excited about. Visit www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2Vmk5Af-Bw to watch my new profile video.

I recently took the team back to my hometown in Virginia for a wakeboard clinic with Glass & Powder. Then we headed out to Phoenix, AZ for the grand opening event of a new dealer. Along the way, we met up with Alliance Wakeboard who has posted an awesome video of the entire Slingshot team tearing it up at Gravity Research Center in Georgia, check it out at www.alliancewake.com/video_details.php?id=3735.

In tournament news, I went out to CableStock in Texas where I finished 4th against some of the biggest names in professional wakeboarding, which was awesome. I had a lot of fun on the rails and just rode really well all weekend. This event really pumped me up for the Pro Wakeboard Tour coming up. I like the new format, which forces riders to focus on style as well as technical tricks. It will make the pro events much more entertaining for the crowds to see riders going bigger, grabbing longer and landing way out in the flats.

But if I don’t see you on tour this year, look for me in GODSPEED, the newest video from Sidewayz, available now!”
